I received this bow secondhand as a gift, and was immediately impressed with it's construction. I own, and have owned, other traditional bows by companies such as Fred Bear and PSE, and this one is by far the highest quality. The fit and finish is flawless...I almost don't want to take it hunting for fear of damaging it, but I will just because it shoots so well.

The model I own is 65 pound draw weight, which is the highest weight available in this model, and is manageable to shoot accurately for someone who is used to 80+ pound pull compound bows. The bow comes with a traditional "bear hair" style shelf rest. As with my other traditional bows, I equipped the Martin with a NAP stick on flipper style rest, which dramatically improves accuracy and shoot-ability. Your accuracy with this bow is limited only by your experience.

The Hunter also comes with a foot helper stringer. This is immensely helpful, as it is almost impossible to string a 65 pound recurve by hand.
