* Select the size of space you want to use USB for [RAM usage vs. Storage].

Turn off the [Windows Hibernation]

Service [Windows hibernation] can use the system resources that are big enough. If this feature is not used too often, better off to give extra performance on vista, and free space is used for the hibernation file (depending on the size of the amount of RAM).

To turn off this service:

* Open the [Control Panel] and select [Power Options] Click [Change Plan Settings]

* Click on [Change Advanced Power Settings]

* Open the choice [Sleep] Go to the option [Hibernate After]

* Change the option to be 0 (zero)

* Click [Apply]

* Apply power plan on the other.

Turn off the [System Restore]

To turn off this feature:

* Open the Control Panel, and then click [Programs and Features].

* Click [Turn Windows features on or off] on the left.

* Remove the checkmark in the "Windows Meeting Space".

* Click [OK].

Report Errors

If a program suddenly stops working, either a Windows program, either program, Vista will offer what the user would like to report the error to Microsoft. Ideally, Microsoft will find out what is causing the error.

To turn off this feature:

* Click [Start], type "services" in the search box. Click [Services] on the search results.

* Double click on the [Windows Error Reporting Service].

* On the drop-down menu "Startup type", select [Disabled].

* Click [OK].

Disable Features Tablet PC

Vista comes with features for the Tablet PC. If you are not install vista on the Tablet PC, why feature is activated.

To turn off this service:

* Open the Control Panel, and then click [Programs and Features].

* Click [Turn Windows features on or off] on the left.

* In the "Windows Features", removed the check mark on the [Tablet PC Optional Components].

* Click [Start], type "services" in the search box. When the show [Services] in the search results, click there.

* Search [Tablet PC Input Services]. If you have met, double-click there.

* In the drop-down menu "Startup type", select [Disabled].

* Click [OK].

Turn off the [Windows Services] redundant that automatically run at startup

* In the left panel, select [Turn Windows Features on or off].

* [Remote Differential Compression]

* [Tablet PC Optional Components]

* [Windows DFS replication Service]

* [Windows Fax & Scan] (except to use a modem to fax)

* [Windows Meeting Space] (except to use the service [Live Meeting])

Windows Vista comes with a myriad of features. Some of the features to make Vista look very interesting, some of the features that must be running Vista to function. Unfortunately, some of the features that can make the computer work to decrease. Features that were not used should be turned off so that the computer works faster.

Vista has a requirement that is high enough above XP. Some argument say that XP is faster than Vista. However, if you have adequate hardware requirement, you can feel run Vista well.
