I was given this watch for my 18th birthday by my parents - I realise watches are pretty much reduant with mobile phones - mp3 players and pretty much every other personal device now having the time on them. But there is something oddly satisfying about owning your own watch.

That said this watch is a bit of a hassle. The links in the watch are somewhat large - which means it's hard to get a proper fit. Either it's too tight or it's too loose. They really need to give you some links which are half in size that you can use to give yourself a proper fit without loosing the asthetic of the watch. (You would of course use the half size links at either end of the watch to avoid it looking trashy.)

Also in extreme 'wet/humid' heat the watch becomes highly iritable and because it attracts dirt/dust the heat and water combination omits this dust in the form of a sludgey type deposit on your hand. It's fairly small (actually it's tiny) but it's still noticable to the watch wearer.

Overall the watch isn't that bad - it works fine and has all of those weird features like 100M depth rating and what not. But it's not great - if you're thinking of purchasing - look elsewhere.
