The foundation comes in 12 shades and I wasn't sure what color to choose, but figured creamy natural was a safe choice. The color seemed a little light at first but looked much better as it blended in. It's really easy to blend as long as you get the same amount of color and extender from both sides of the dispenser, which takes a bit of practice.
I had to prime the pump a few times before the product actually started to come out. Then once it started coming out, I discovered a new problem. I was holding the bottle upright so the product ran straight down the front of the bottle making a mess. So next time I tilted the bottle quite a bit and pumped onto my fingertips and it worked out much better. Note: you might want to keep the plastic lid that comes with the bottle, especially if you carry the bottle around with you in a makeup bag because the dispensing tops can get quite messy.
So after a little trial and error, I finally get the product out of the bottle and start blending it on my face. This is when I get excited! The creamy silky texture is wonderful, both on the fingers and my face. It feels heavenly and did not make my face feel heavy or laden with makeup. The coverage was excellent and better than I expected.
The product description says lasts it 16 hours and won't rub off. I found that it lasted about 8 hours and in the hot Texas summer it did rub off a bit, especially around the mouth area after eating and using a napkin. I was a bit concerned that it might be hard to remove at night because of the "superstay" factor, but it came right off using the face cloths I use every night.
I like that it has SPF12 in it, so you don't have to worry about using a separate sunblocker.
Even though the dispenser is messy and it didn't quite last the 16 hours as advertised, I would recommend this product.
