I've been trying out different eyeliners for a few years now, and the biggest problem I've encountered is that the eyeliner migrates from my eyelid rim to below my eyes, and it looks AWFUL. After less than an hour at work I'd use the bathroom and look at the mirror to see that I looked like a raccoon. It was embarassing but I hate how my eyes look without liner. I was under the impression that eyeliner migration was inevitable.

A few months ago I saw Maybelline's Ultra Liner at Walmart and I figured I'd give it try, despite maybelline not exactly being my go-to brand. I actually read reviews on it before hand and there were many complaints of it simply peeling off at random, but the other shining reviews of it being amazingly long-lasting convinced me to try it.

First off, the ONLY complaint I have about this eyeliner is the applicator. It's a thin bristled brush and I find it much easier to use a pointed foam applicator.

Anyways, onto it's amazingness!

It is very dark black and you only need one or possibly two swipes of it. It's easy to find, not expensive, and has AWESOME STAYING POWER.

I put it on right before work and after a few hours, I looked into my mirrored compact prepared to wipe the migrated eyeliner off my face, only to see that there was NONE there. Literally none. The black lines were still black-black and completely intact around my eyes.

I didn't realize until then how badly migrated eyeliner looked. I looked so much better than usual... so much more presentable and clean. This older man actually commented that I'm "looking better than ever".

This product would have received a "5" from me if it came from with pointed foam applicator. I like doing "cat-eye" liner and it's difficult with the bristles.
