This pop-up tent and tunnel system is tons of fun and provides lots of exercise. While the age recommendation was 3-7, I got it for my one-year-old, and I believe she is just the right age to start playing in it. She has no problem climbing in and out of it, and crawling around. Plus, because she is so small, she is able to stand up in all the tents, making for more fun play. This tent system is super easy to assemble, with just a few velcro fasteners. You can buy other sets to add onto it, but beware of the size. This thing is HUGE! I don't think we need any additonal parts. I like the outside as well, because it includes a ball throwing game, as well as a basketball net. You can use the balls that come with the playset in these games. However, if you are looking to buy this toy because of the ball pit, make sure to buy extra balls! The 50 it comes with are not nearly enough. This toy folds up for easy storage, though it can be a bit tricky to master the folding technique. It comes with two bags for carrying and travel. In my home, this toy will get lots of indoor use, but I think the material is too thin for outside adventures.
