Although my husband prefers a name brand tissue, I think that these are just fine, and they cost a lot less.

I will admit right up front that these are not quite as soft as some of the name brands. Most of the time, this just isn’t an issue for me, and these save a lot of money. The regular price for a box is now up to $1.34, but they are often on sale for $.99 a box, and I stock up when this is the case.

There are 160 two-ply tissues in each box. The feed is pop-up style, with a wide opening and a soft plastic slot which feeds the tissues. The tissues are not super-strong, but they aren’t wimpy. I find them to be perfectly acceptable..

Best of all, as far as I am concerned, the tissues have no dyes, perfumes or lotions. These all make me sneeze and irritate my nose more than a tissue.

These Meijer Tissues come in attractive boxes. Currently they are using a silhouette foliage design, but prior to this they used dragonflies for a couple of years. The boxes are nice enough that you don’t have to cover them. The boxes are pink, blue, green, or dark gray, and are made from 100% recycled paper (post-consumer content not indicated)
