In my previous review of her first book, I sang the praises of an author with a glorious vision of educating American's about the rest of the world.
Now, finally, she has limited her scope and written an excellent book that I personally loved about Europe. Between comparing Slovakia to Slovenia, and explaining what happened in Yugoslavia and Czechlslovakia, she even goes as far as to point out how ridiculous the idea of the European Union is giving the colonialism so rampant among so many of the major players in the EU for thousands of years.
As someone who does not know a lot about Europe, I ended this book feeling like I had learning more about Europe in that one book than in 3 months of a class in European politics. She has the writing style that reminds me of the Daily show and pretty much every time I read something she writes, I laugh and feel educated at the same time.
