I do Web design as a side job so I am always using CD-Rs to save things to. whether it be photos, sound files, video files or HTML files, it's gonna get saved to a disk. The CD-R can only be written on once so I usually saved media files on these particular disks (Video, photos, sound). Nothing that will be changed a lot cause I won't be able to re-write over the exsiting file on the disk.
I also use these for music. I love to listen to music in my car but I don't like leaving me CDs in the hot car during the summer and the freezing car during the winter so I will burn a copy of my Cds so that the original Cd is in the house and the copy travels in the car with me. If something happens to the copy I'm not out as much money that way. These disk work great for music.
The disks hold up to 700 MB of info or up to 80 minutes of music.
They each come in a paper sleeve for storage and then the package of 10 comes in a very nice plastic case that could be used to sotre recorded disks in since the sleeves do not provide a lot of protection from drops on the floor or water.
I have never had one of these disks fail me yet and I would highly recomend them for music storage and important document/file storage.
