I was given many of these collectables from this set as a gift. This is a 1988 charter issue. It is commerative. The caption for this porcelain figure is, Mommy, I teared it! This is from the Mabel Lucie Atwel collection. They are all just beautiful. I am describing this one first because this happens to be my favorite. I plan on adding to this collection. These run in a wide variety of price ranges. All of the ones that I have are from the 1988 collection! This little girl is very pretty. The figurine is a part of this display which I have in my home. It added to the decor and many people enjoy looking at them all. I have them set in a place where I can add to the collection. These are well made and very beautiful. Each figurine comes with a certificate and description. Each figuriine has its own number attached with it.This was a wonderful surprise and I have decided to work on completing this collection. I am not sure how much they are worth now but will inncease in value as the time goes by. I will be checking to locate more figurines to add to these. I presently have eight of these figurines. I do have them in different sizes also. I think anyone would enjoy seeing this collection wether you wanted to be a collector or not. I would recommend this as a hobby or as a gift. It is a beautiful ongoing collection that is esquite and a delight. To give an idea of the price range, the larger figurine that I have was priced back in 1988 as sixty dollars. I am checking to see how the prices are in todays markets. This was a Christmas gift and truly is a gift that will keep on giving. This is my favorite collection to date and I think it always be.The extrodinary style of these figurines make them very special as well as the thoughts of the giver. These do come in beautiful box's decorated with small flowers all over. I am very proud to be their new owner and look forward to displaying them for many years.
