The Metal Gear Solid series consists of many games that all have the same genre; tactical espionage action. This particular game is the latest edition to the series which techinically ends the storyline, though it IS possible that Konami may make another MGS that starts the story off sometime during the 1950's. MGS4 takes place in 2014, as Old Snake, you take on the field of CQC and stealth to try and stop Ocelot from taking over the control of the military. Most of the game is the same as the other games in the series except for some new features and some functions that have changed but every addition and change makes MGS4 "technically flawless" - GameSpot. One of the new features is the Psyche Meter which monitors Old Snake's stress levels due to environmental stimuli, this creates a realistic effect on Old Snake during times of hunger, exposure to foul smells, or cold or hot weather by decreasing his accuracy. This game is out of this world. I wouldn't even call it a game, the storyline is so in depth that you actually feel like you ARE Old Snake. Hideo Kojima knew exactly what he was doing when making this latest addition for the Metal Gear Solid series.
