"Call Me Irresponsible, " the latest album by Michael Buble is definitely irresistable to anyone who is a fan of his music or a fan of his genre alone. He channels Frank Sinatra, Billy Paul, Jack Jones, Eric Clapton, and Willie Nelson on this latest CD. Even though he sings the songs made so well known by their original artists, he manages to add his own voice and influences to make them sound new again.
Two of my favorite tracks on the album are "Everything, " and "I'm Your Man, " both of which he cowrote. While I love the cover songs, especially the Sinatra ones, his own are definitely the best in my opinion. I think he should still channel his famous influences, but channel them into writing more of his own songs.
I have been a fan of his for the last year and half and I can't wait to see what he does on his next album. If one of his tracks on this album is any indication, "The Best Is Yet To Come."
