I am a Mickey Mouse fan and being that we lived in Orlando for over 6 years, every April and October, we go the Disney Liquidation Sale and get all sorts of items for 70% off the retail marked price. The sale is always the first week of those two months and is held in the gymnasium at the Celebration K-8 school. That's in the town of Celebration where we use to live and was built by Disney.

Normally the items on sale range from clothing to toys and if you come with a lot of money, you can even buy pallets or cases of items.

Last year when we went to the sale, we found a few things, but not as much as we use to. I happened to look under a table and found only one of these Mickey Mouse head calculators. It was marked to $3 and I had to have it. The Mickey head buttons are a black hard plastic and it runs on solar power. I have no idea as to when this calculator was marketed, but to date, the battery is still running strong and I guess since it runs on solar power, I haven't needed to change the battery. If and when it is time to change, the compartment is located behind the back left ear - picture shown.

This calculator is simple and great to keep by my computer for quick calculations. It isn't filled with all the bells and whistles kids need in today's classrooms, but it does the job for what I need. It has "on" and "off" buttons and just the general keys. The calculation area holds 8 places of numbers and the display area is a very nice size for anyone with poor eyesight.

It's made of a sturdy silver plastic and the white numbers and letters on the black key pads have not worn out, so I expect to have this nicely sized calculator around a long time. The face of the calculator is around 6 inches circumference and the ears add another almost 3 inches. I find the ears easy to grab when I need it in a hurry.

So next time you are in Orlando, Florida in April or October, check out the Disney Liquidation Sale in the town of Celebration. You are sure to find some really great bargains.
