This chewy bar makes a good companion to coffee while out with friends on Open Mic Night. Not only that, but it's great for backpacking trips, school lunches, breakfast, babies and more!
Yes, I did say babies. Not only are they made of good-for-you ingredients, but they taste great, too! My son chomped away at his Banana bar like a champ and tried eating my Cranberry one when his was gone. It's a good thing that I'm not scared of messes, though, as the bars are fairly crumbly and my son had bits of oatmeal all over himself and the table by the third bite.
Planning a flight? These bars are roughly 3 oz and in clear packaging, making them carry-on compatible. Not only that, but they're more substantial than the peanuts and/or pretzels available on most flights.
My favorite part of this bar is that they're not too sweet. I feel comfortable making it something my family eats on a regular basis and have been contemplating sending one to work with my husband so he stops buying the crud in the vending machines. I even pack two for "just in case" in my son's diaper bag - one for me and one for him! Plus, the variety makes it so these bars don't become too dull too fast.
All-in-all, this is a great oat bar with only one extremely minor negative in my book. After my first bite I knew I'd be back for more!
