My new office/craft room has a funky hip look to it and I needed an office chair that fit in. I searched high and low for one that looked different from all the basic black chairs out there and I found just the look I wanted in the Divoga modern white bucket chair.

The chair has a 70's inspired rounded bucket shape and is covered in a faux white leather upholstery. It sits on a chrome base and has 5 legs for stability and casters so it rolls. The chair has functions that allow it to both swivel and tilt.

When you look at the chair, you would think it would be totally uncomfortable to sit in but it actually was very comfortable. I had the chair for 6 months when I started having problems with it that did not make me happy.

It is no fault of the chair but beware that if you ever do purchase a white office chair, it will get dirty. I was able to use a damp towel and get most of it off but it just happened over and over again no matter how careful I was. Another thing to think about in a chair like this is the shape. The sides of it slope down and there is no real armrest so it does not slide very far under a desk. Because of this, I ended up bumping it into the side of my desk repeatedly and the leather on the side began to wear and tear. I also began to notice small tears beginning to form on the seat as well. The biggest problem though was that the seat of the chair was showing permanent butt prints. The padding had worn down and there were actual divots in the seat. I am the only one who used the chair and I weigh less that 140 pounds so it's not like the chair was under a huge amount of stain or was being abused.

I decided I needed to do something so I sent an email to Office Max explaining the problems I was having with the chair and that I was unhappy with how the chair was holding up after only a few months. I received a response in just a few hours from them that informed me that the chair had a 1- year warranty and I should take it along with my receipt to the store for an exchange or replacement.

When we returned the chair to the store, they took it back no questions asked. I really wanted to just exchange it for another one but they did not have any in stock. They happened to be running a sale that week on a more traditional looking office chair that happened to be in an off white color so I paid the $20.00 difference and upgraded to that on instead.
