Recently we had an issue come up with our Moen faucet. We could have purchased a new cartridge for it to give it a new life, but we opted to purchase a new Moen Banbury kitchen faucet instead.
Our old kitchen faucet was a Moen. It has always served us well and only needed minor maintenance to keep it going. However, it just looked dated and it was original to the house. Given we had never had any overt issues with our old Moen faucet we went with the same brand.
The Banbury model has a chrome finish, is for 4-hole installation, and has a side spray. The spout is arched up high so you can get large buckets or stockpots under it without any problems.
The side spray is sleek, has a comfort grip, and easy spray trigger. The spray flow from it has great pressure. The hose is a nice length at about 4 1/2 feet.
We chose the single handle mount but there was a double handle mount with the same spout and sprayer. For those looking for more style options, or in spout sprayers, Moen can accommodate.
Installation was very easy. All we needed was a pair of pliers and a wrench. You unscrew the old set up and screw in the new.
Moen has a limited lifetime warranty. You can't beat that. Moen stands behind what they sell, provided it was properly installed and cared for.
