I've never been a big fan of wind chimes. Some are nice to hear, but most simply irritate me. Having my own was never something I would have considered. That is, until I worked in a store that sold the brand, "Music of the Spheres". I'd never heard any other chimes that came close to the sound of these.
Music of the Spheres calls itself the "Stradivarius of Windchimes". From what I have seen and heard, I'd have to agree. These chimes have the most exquisite sounds I've ever heard from a wind chime.
The chimes come in several various musical scales such as: Pentatonic, Quartal, Chinese, Mongolian, Aquarian, Japanese, Hawaiian, Gypsy, Balinese and Whole Tone. You can choose from soprano or go to the deep base end, or pick something inbetween. Each one has its own unique sound and they can also be custom tuned.
The sizes range from 30" long to 168" and range in price from $90 to $3, 000. The warranty runs from 7 to 15 years, depending on the product you choose.
Quality is top notch with these chimes. They are made of black, powder-coated aluminum alloy tubing. They are simple, yet beautiful.
The company offers a 30 day unconditional return guarantee and you can listen to a sample of each chime on their website at: http://www.musicofspheres.com/ourchimes.html.
If you are a fan of wind chimes and have not heard this brand, check out their website. You'll be impressed. They made a fan out of me!
