Mother Teresa's private writings are inspirational. This book jumped out at me, while browsing the aisles in Borders. This paperback book's picture of Mother Teresa praying is humbling in nature. The private journal writings of Mother Teresa are a insight to Mother Teresa's life and her devoted work in helping the poor and less fortunate.
She faces trials and tribulations, overcomes those difficulties through her love of god. It makes the reader feel as if you were there with her. She faces many struggles with her own spirituality and questions her role as a child of god. You feel her pain and darkness as she writes in these letters.
Mother Teresa's did not want these private writings to see the day of light. She requested so many times to Archbiship to burn her writings. She felt her work was between her and god. I am glad they were preserved. It is a very uplifting spiritual book.
I recommend this book. It is a good read. Mother Teresa's book gives hope, faith and love. Overcoming many obstacles, that anyone can get through during their lifetime. That there is a light at the end of the tunnel, in a time of one's darkest hour.
