Recently purchased a new Motorola VU204 cell phone. The outer case is not slick, which is a huge plus for me. It is almost a slight rubbery, matte feel, that keeps it from sliding off the dashboard of the car, or off the kitchen counter.
The numbers appear on the screen as you manually dial, as with any cellphone, but they are very large numbers, probably 1/2 inch or greater and would be perfect for someone with less than perfect eyesight to see.
The keypad is quite stylish and lights up the keys in reds, blues and greens. It's very pretty to use at night.
The camera takes decent pictures. I wouldn't rely on it for a digital photo contest or anything, but it would do in a pinch.
I love the feature on the right side where you can push one button and tell the phone to dial someone already in your address book. This is a good feature to use if you must make a call while driving, so as not to distract your eyes from the road. What I DON'T like is that the button pushes too easily, especially in your pocket when you bend over. All of a sudden you'll hear a small voice emitting from your pocket, and yep, you guessed it! It's your handy VU204 talking to you.
I also don't care much for the way the charging port is designed. It's located on the left side, near the bottom of the phone, but it has a recessed rubber plug to fill in the charging port while not in use. The plug is not the easiest to remove and replace.
Overall, it is a great phone, for a great price and I would recommend it!
