I was sick of visiting my Yahoo and college email account every time I wanted to check my emails. My eyes hurt from looking at that ugly Outlook express interface. There had to be a better way.. Mozilla firefox has been my standard web browser for quite some time now, and I heard from another product made by the Mozilla project: Thunderbird. TB downloads the mails automatically from both my accounts, stores them safely on my computer and does a very good job filtering out the spam messages. By tagging unwanted mails that still got through, you can teach TB to filter even more strict.
Until now, seven web site based email accounts are supported: Yahoo, Hotmail, Lycos (Europe), MailDotCom, Gmail, Libero, and AOL. Because Mozilla is an open-source project, with an enormous community, it’s not hard to find help for any of your problems. For the inexperienced user, it might take some time configuring Thunderbird, but I recommend you to persist, the result is fantastic!
Mozilla thunderbird has endless possibilities. By installing fresh themes, dictionaries for spell check, and countless other extentions, you can adjust TB to your needs.
Mozilla Thunderbird is a must have for people who want order in their mailbox! Oh, and I almost forgot: it's completely free!.
