I took this protein over this past summer during my offseason (track and field-sprinter). What attracted me to this brand was the claims that the company was making on the label and also their stance on hardcore weight lifting. Although that sounds just like a scam to attract people to their brand, I found the protein VERY effective. After my first tub of the protein I was seeing very big gains in lean muscle. The protein worked so well for me that I continued ordering it throughout the rest of the summer.
Although the protein was very effective, there were two major downfalls to it. First was the taste, on the label the company gives a guarantee that this is the best tasting protein you'll ever have. While I personally thought it tasted pretty bad. Second, was the initial price I saw this protein at. I saw this protein at GNC for about $ 40 and some change. But thankfully I was able to find it cheaper over at VitaCost.com. Another, very minor, negative issue that I saw with this protein was the mixability. Most of the time I would take the protein immediately after my workout, so I had to take it with water in my shaker. When I did this I noticed that there were still some clumps in the protein after shaking it for a decent amount of time. But then again, not a big issue.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this protein to anyone that was looking to build more lean muscle, as long as they don't mind the taste. The gains I was seeing definitely trumped the taste issue.
