Our pediatrician recommended Poly Vi-Sol when my baby turned one month old. If I remember right, the dosage was merely .3 of an ml. Poly Vi-Sol is good based on the nutritional information on the label because aside from its multi vitamins, it has iron. It is reasonably priced, it falls in the mid-range.
My first problem is, it comes in a plastic bottle with a very heavy top. It usually falls on its side with the slightest movement. And the plastic cap is probably not done well because there is always spillage. And I hate it when it spills inside our baby's bag when we bring it along. You know why? Because it smells so bad. As in, ugh! The color is also very dark so when my baby takes it, sometimes some of the liquid spills on her bib and clothes because of her drool, and yuck, we have to change bib and clothes everytime. The clothes would then smell bad and become icky because of the dark stains and they need to be handwashed because it could not be removed in the washer.
Additionally, it tastes bad. It is rather sour and my baby hates it. So after spilling two bottles my pediatrician decided to change it. Ah... finally.
