I don't cook very much, but I do like to make chili in the fall and winter. I found the WearEver Premium hard anodized 10 inch covered skillet at Walmart for $30. I love this skillet for making chili. The coated, riveted handles stay cool to the touch, so I don't have to go searching for hot pads every time I want to stir the pot. The glass cover makes it easy for me to see if the chili is boiling yet to turn the heat down to a simmer. And there's a small steam hole in the cover that lets the steam escape easily, so I don't have any boilover clean-ups anymore. The skillet is teflon coated, making clean-up incredibly easy, even when I've burned the chili. I went back to Walmart just a few months after I bought this skillet to pick another one up for my daughter's birthday, and they were sold out. But if I can ever find this WearEver Premium Covered Skillet again, I will not hesitate to pick it up. This is absolutely the best skillet I have ever used, and I love cooking with it.
