I have long straight eyelashes. I bought this product because it's a brand name that I trust. The package doesn't promise you sky high lashes if you use it, but it does say it will curl your lashes.
I took the curler out of the package and looked it over. I like that the part that curls my lashes was made from rubber not silicon. I dislike the silicone curler pads. I held it in my hand and tried to insert my fingers into the bottom of the curler. Uh oh! Big problem here. I have regular sized fingers and my fingers would not fit in the openings of the handle. Well if I can't get my fingers in there, then I can't use the curler?
I decided that since I paid for it already and it was mine to do with as I choose....I tore off the rubber tips on the openings. This opened up the holes to the correct size I could fit my fingers in. Problem solved.
The curler worked as promised and I was very happy about that. But I decided to write to the CoverGirl company and tell them how unhappy I was about the design. About a week later, I received a coupon in the mail from them. A coupon for a FREE product of my choosing from their CoverGirl line of cosmetics.
I love the curler and with my design adjustment, it works great. I would buy this curler again but I would definitely tear off the rubber tips on the finger opening at the bottom.
If you don't like something about a product, don't be afraid to tell the company!
