I bought my Timex Reef Gear Quartz watch for Women about 5 years ago. Its original price was $100 but since it was on sale, I got it at 50% off. I am not a girly girl so I like the athletic look of this watch. I am also not athletic, but that is beside the point. This watch is small and not bulky, so it is perfect for a small woman like me.

It has stainless steel bracelet and black dial, which I like. I am fed up with the white dials. As usual, it has Indiglo, so no problem with trying to tell time even when it is dark. It is covered with mineral crystal, so it doesn't get scratches. And after five years of using it daily, it still is good as new. The original battery that came with it when I bought the watch lasted 2 years.

One thing about this watch, it has to be brought to the Timex outlet in order for its battery to be replaced. Twice people from our store attempted to open the watch and when they were able to open it, they couldn't close it. In the end, the back cover of the watch that protects its internal parts got a lot of scratches now. When I brought it to the Timex store, they didn't want to tinker with it at first because it might be damaged already and they may take the fall. But I assured them that it was our people who tried to do the job but couldn't and ended up ruining the back of my watch.

But thankfully, after the Timex people closed the back of my watch, it is still working fine and no scratches on the parts that can be seen. I really like this watch. So sturdy.
