I was recently gifted with a new set of pots and pans. My older pots and pans were beginning to fall apart and despite their "lifetime" warranty, the manufacturer had been bought out and the warranty did not seem to be being covered. As a result some family members purchased me a new set as a gift.

My previous set was a fairly good quality. When my family members went to purchase replacements they were told that the store no longer carried my previous brand. They requested advice as to which brand would be considered a like replacement and we told that the Tools of the Trade Rangeware would be of like quality and design.

I believe they were misled.

These pots and pans are of a nice quality but they are not above average. The weight and design of the pots and pans are fine but they have a few features I do not care for.

This cookware is very difficult to clean. I am able to remove food particles but the inside and outside of the pieces am stained and have a sticky feeling to them. I have used many different methods in an attempt to clean them without true success. I am using them in the exact same manner as my previous set and those had no stains after fifteen years of usage.

My other complaint is that the rivets that hold the handles onto the pots and pans are visible inside the pots and pans. The visual effect does not bother me but I dislike that my spoons and spatulas get caught on them when I am stirring and my cloths and sponges snag on them while cleaning.

Overall I am satisfied with this product but I would recommend a higher quality to someone who is considering purchasing cookware.
