I recently moved into a small cottage, while my husband and I renovate our larger home, which needs many repairs. When we purchased the cottage, it did not have a dishwasher, and my husband insisted that I buy one. (I am very glad that he did, because I use it almost daily.)
We chose a Frigidaire built-in dishwasher with many great features. The thing I like most about this dishwasher is that it is very quiet! It uses energy-efficient motors for the wash and rinse cycles. Compared to previous dishwashers I have owned, the noise level is greatly reduced.
It has the typical wash options, including Pots and Pans, Normal, Light Wash, and Rinse Only. Other selections include High Temp Wash and Heat Dry. It also has a rinse aid dispenser, and detergent dispenser.
Another feature that I like is that the utensil basket is inside the dishwasher rack, rather than on the door, as it was in my previous dishwasher. The basket can be removed, and taken over to the silverware drawer, when putting away the utensils. Additional features are a glass trap and an overfill protector.
The dishwasher is energy-efficient, and the heated dry cycle only costs pennies per load to operate. The Eco Wash cycle also contributes to energy conservation. The water is 100% filtered to remove particles as small as coffee grounds, which means there is no need for pre-rinsing dishes.
With daily use, I have very much enjoyed this Frigidaire dishwasher. It always thoroughly cleans the dishes to my satisfaction. It operates efficiently and quietly, so I couldn't ask for more!
