I borrowed this book from a friend of mine that I work with. I had previously heard that it was a really good book through some type of media, I don't remember which. When I heard about it I mentioned it to a friend of mine at work and she eventually purchased the book for herself. After she was finished reading it because she was so impressed with the novel she loaned it to me.
I was not dissapointed in the least. This novel will keep you engrossed from cover to cover. The author has such a way of telling the story that I was mesmerized. The story is based on a child who is conceived for the sole purpose of being a donor for her older sister. This child decides during her teenage years that she is going to sue for her right to make the decisions about how her body is used. The author doesn't stay with the child's story the entire length of the book, there are several different characters such as the child's parents, siblings, lawyer, boyfriend, etc.
This book is deals with a modern day situation and how it could be handled. You will be amazed and shocked at the ending.
