It is summer again and dry spell is harsh on our skin especially here in the Middle East. Temperature here can soar from 40 to 53 degrees Celcius and that is hot!

I wear flip-flops when going around town running my errands but the harsh weather leaves my heels cracked and a bit sore. So I always carry this Boots Skin Therapy emollient Cream in my bag. It is a fast relief for dry skin. It soothes, moisturises and relieves my chapping heeland even my fingers.

This product is also great for sunburn, nappy soreness, dry eczema, chapping and prickly heats. It is so versatile and convenient that I cannot leave the house now without this and my SPF 50 lotion.

The cream comes in a tin tube of 60 grams capacity. The ingredients are almond oil, anhydrous hypoallergenic lanolin, purified water, cetyl alcohol, white soft paraffin, cetomacgrogol, benzyl alcohol, sorbitan. It is non-scented but I can still make out a taint scent of powder like that of a baby's powder. Not bad actually. It has a non-greasy after-feel so even if I apply this on my cracked heels, I don't feel like my heels are slippery. It gets absorbed by the skin.

For the price of AED 10, this product is really effective and a good value-for-money skin emollient cream.
