I really like this adorable, classic cut, tomato red, short trench. When the sky is dark and it is drizzling out, sometimes I want to feel bright and cheery, not somber and gloomy. I don't want to match the weather.

This coat was bought for me at a tag sale. I think it's a really incredible find!

There are two zippered pockets on both sides of the coat. They are deep and roomy. There are 7 snaps on the outside that say Burberry on them, these snap to close the jacket. There are hooks at the neck to keep the collar closed. I prefer not to use those. Too constricting! There is a waist-cinching belt at the middle.

Ever since I got it, I noticed that the belt has the tendency to droop in the front. Even when I tighten the belt so that it lies flat, it doesn't do any good, it tends to dip down anyway. Also, the end of the belt sticks out and a person can see it poking out from the back, when they're in the front. There are 3 belt loops on the belt. No matter how I move them around, the tail end of the belt always sticks out a little.

This jacket appears to be made out of cotton poplin. It doesn't say what materials it is made from. It is not completely waterproof, but it does the trick, just as long as there isn't a major deluge going on.
