My aunt bought my Toshiba Satellite laptop way back November 2003 as her gift to me. I was in college that time and thought having a laptop would be very helpful in my studies especially for my thesis and presentations. Well, I love my laptop, not only because it is the only laptop I have, but the main reason why I love it is because it had been a very great help to me.

Within the four years I have been using it, it never fail. The only problem with this laptop is the fan noise as they become so noisy everyday. I tried cleaning them with the vacuum cleaner and compressed air to no avail. I think the CPU fan of my laptop is noisier compared to those owned by my friends, which is of course different model and brand.

I also don't like the overall design of my notebook, especially the keyboard layout. Most notebooks have the Windows key on the left part, right beside the Alt button, but my Toshiba laptop has the Windows button at the upper right corner of the keyboard. I fing it unuseful. I also don't like the touchpad because I am not able to scroll downwards and upwards. I have to click the browser arrows to do that.

As for the performance, I am satisfied because it runs fine and does not freezes. The memory capacity is only 256MB and I am not considering of upgrading it because I think there is no need. To wrap it up, with its quality and lifetime, also considering the fact that it never failed for four years, I think this model and brand is great. I just hope the CPU fan is not that noisy.
