Nair Upper Lip Cream is generally okay for removing upper lip hair. I bought this product about a year ago after trying various other depilatory creams, bleaches, and home waxing kits. I found Nair Upper Lip Cream to be more effective than some of these other products, but there are several drawbacks associated with Nair Upper Lip Cream. First, there is the smell. Most depilatory creams have a pungent odor and Nair Upper Lip Cream is no exception. The smell is very strong, and since it is right under your nose, it is even worse. Next, the instructions say that Nair Upper Lip Cream will remove hair after leaving the product on for only five minutes and then dapping it off with a cloth. This is simply not true. I have had to leave it on for ten minutes and scrub it off with a cloth to remove hair. Once, I had to scrub so hard that my skin peeled the next day.
There are some positive aspects to Nair Upper Lip Cream. For one thing, the tube is very small and convenient. You simply apply the cream right on your upper lip straight from the tube. There is no mess at all. In addition, Nair Upper Lip Cream lasts several weeks once you get the hair off. Then there is the price--at around $4 a tube, it is relatively inexpensive.
I would recommend Nair Upper Lip Cream to those who have not been satisified with other hair removal products on the market. Just be careful not to leave it on too long or you might lose some skin along with the unwanted hair!
