I really have never been one to spend a ton of money on cosmetics. Yeah I've always wanted the Chanel, the MAC, and the Estee Lauder cosmetics. However my budget keeps me from buying everything in my path.
I do admit to the occasional splurge, but never would I in my life spend more than $10.00 on lipstick, or gloss, or in this case Nars Cosmetics Lip Lacquer Baby Doll.
My Uncle however whom works with rich folks in the city, always comes out for a visit with bags, and sometimes boxes filled with extrememly high end bath and beauty products. Yep, the designer brands are given to me for 100% free. I feel lucky, extremely lucky.
Nars Cosmetics Lip Lacquer Baby Doll, came in a small see through pot. You simply untwist the lid, dip in your finger, or dip ion a lip brush and apply the Lip Lacquer.
Baby Doll inparticular is a beautiful color, and is described on the website as cotton candy. I couldn't agree more. This color though is very, very high gloss with extremely small flecks of micro glitter. All in all it is a beautiful color.
The best thing about Nars Cosmetics Lip Lacquer Baby Doll was its texture. I have never been a gloss/lacquer fan, or even a lipstick fan because most products feel heavy, or leave behind a nasty greasy, or sticky texture.
Nars Cosmetics Lip Lacquer Baby Doll however leaves nothing of the sort behind. It feels like it moisturizes the lips. Its very light, and very easy to wear.
However just when I thought I had found the most gorgeous lip lacquer, it was gone nearly as quickly as I had applied it.
Yep, sad to report it, but this $24.00 lacquer has no last at all, and is way, way over priced!
Now if it had last, it may have been a really wonderful product. Sadly it's got no last, and truly it is sad because it felt really nice on my lips.
