NBA Live by EA Sports set the standard for games to come. The game had decent graphics for a 16 bit game. You could recognize the differences between players. The game had complete rosters and had many features such as a trade feature and an unlock feature where you unlocked rookies and legends.
The game featured the 1995 rookie class which had notable players like Joe Smith, Antonio McDyess, Jerry Stackhouse, Rasheed Wallace, Michael Finley, Damon Stoudamire, Kevin Garnett and Brent Barry. The game also featured legends such as Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, Kevin McHale, James Worthy, Magic Johnson, Wilt Chamberlain and Bill Russell.
Personally I used the Chicago Bulls a lot as I was a fan of the Jordan - Pippen Bulls. I also used the Indiana Pacers as i was a fan of Reggie Miller's three point shooting. The NBA Live games of the present are much better now in terms of graphics. This game was dated and was good during its heyday. I wouldn't recommend it to newbies just to older people for nostalgia.
