The "Earth Hour" event that happened recently has had me thinking GREEN. What things can I change to make my family 'greener'. I've started with things that I buy and bring in to my home. In my GREEN mindset I happened to stumble upon the following product: UNIVERSAL STONE.

What is it?

Universal stone is a cleaning and polishing stone. Now I know you're saying, "But Jayjay, how can you clean with a stone?" I know, that's what I thought before I bought it! It is made of cleaning agents made from natural ingredients like soap flakes, green soap, vegetable oils, glycerine, polishing clay earth and perfume oils.

What Universal Stone doesn't have is toxins and acids that are commonly used in other household cleaning products. I clean knowing that I am not doing damage to my skin, nails or even the surface I am cleaning. Throw away those cleaning gloves! Did you know 'Magic Eraser' has formaldehyde in it? I didn't. Now I make sure I read all labels.

How do you use a Stone to clean?

Universal Stone also comes with a sponge and is simple to use! All you need to do is to wet the sponge in water, swipe to dampened sponge across the stone and then squeeze the sponge a few times to create suds. Then use the soapy sponge to everything and ANYTHING! When you're done cleaning all you need to do is rinse out the sponge and let the stone dry before putting the lid back on. Universal Stone also has an UNLIMITED shelf-life! I bought the 800g tub so I know this will last me a long time.

What can I clean?

Use Universal Stone to clean or polish any precious metal (gold, silver, copper, brass, etc.), enamel, glass, granite, corian, ceramic, tiles, plasic, acrylic, wood, blinds, varnished surfaces, chromium, bathtubs, toilets, sinks, musical instruments, boats, skis, athletic shoes, etc. - the list goes on and on! I use my Universal Stone ALL around the house. It even dissolves limestone build up on my showerheads and can remove grease from the filter on my range hood.

Why should YOU buy this?

If you've read this far and I haven't convinced you yet, how about the fact there is no wasted packaging? The Universal Stone comes in a container made of environment-friendly PPI. So you can recycle the tub when you're done and feel good that there aren't any harmful toxic remnants of harsh cleaning product still inside because Universal Stone is 100% Biodegradable and phosphor-free. More importantly Universal Stone is safe for children and can be used to clean their toys and much more. Make the switch to GREEN cleaning products with the Universal Stone!
