When I first received this, I didn't know how I would wear it really. It is a bright blue eye lining pencil. I mean, wow. Who would wear that during the day, out in public? I'm definitely sure there are people, but you'd have to have the right personality, I think, or the right style for it. I thought I wasn't that person, I really did. I like neutral makeup most of the time, really subtle and tasteful stuff. Makeup that brings out and accents what is already there, instead of just slapping bright colors on top of everything.
One day, I was using Bare Escentuals liner eyeshadow in T.L.C. (A sparkly, iridescent blue shade). I used it allover my lid. I didn't realize it was for lining. I didn't think black eyeliner really went with it. I noticed my Tarte eyeliner in Ballet Dancers. I thought I'd give it a try, and I'm so glad I did. It looked so good! It didn't look too bold or crazy at all. I was shocked. I applied it on my waterline (the inner rim of the lower part of my eye). It lasted a decent amount of time there. I also applied in on my upper lashes and it looked great there. I recommend this. Don't be scared off by the color.
It retails on Tarte.com for $18.00.
