NFS Carbon OTC is a must have game for every racing or NFS freak out there. NFS Carbon Own the City quite maintains it's Carbon theme, with Night/Dawn/Dusk Time racing, crew members and wingmen, superior Lamborghini Vehicles and the Music Tracks. But the PSP version does misses on a lot of things, like the screenshot capability which could have been added.

The game is set into a completely new city called East Coast, but if you are a NFS Fan, then you will recognize many places from the previous game maps, like Most Wanted. The story is one of it's kind, and is not continued from the Most Wanted series, as in NFS Carbon. The initial aim is to find the killer ofour Brother, Mick. This aim sets us into a game full of racing.

Unlike the Most Wanted version of PSP, it's successor does has it's own story, and you have in your mind that you are racing for a particular reason, unlike NFS Most Wanted (PSP). The game graphics are well designed. Though the graphics of cars is not as good as Most Wanted, it has more realistic gameplay than it's predecessor. Crashes and other such things display realistic results, unlike Most Wanted. The scenery is good, especially when racing in the dusk. A free roam mode is also included, which adds more excitement with cop races and finding crates for bonuses. There are no cops during races, though. The frame rate might decrease at places, but overall the gameplay is really smooth.

Other things include a full 3-d view of your ride and crew members, which can sometimes be more of a danger to you, rather than helper. The in-game music is fantastic, with tracks from the Carbon series, such as "Hard Drivers". There are a lot of races to keep you going. A softcore gamer might take about 1 month to complete the whole game, excluding the bonus crates. The game is easy in the beginning, but gets hard as it progresses, and you will constantly find yourself restarting races to win them.

Overall, the game is a nice buy, and the story adds more excitement. Every NFS Fan must have one, and even the non-NFS fans.
