I want to start out by saying that the new scented reed diffusers from Glade work just fine, and the two scents that they did have available at my store, smelled great. If the reed diffuser goes on sale or you have a coupon for it, the diffuser is an even better deal.
I originally bought it because a younger sister dropped and broke my Bath and Body diffuser and I wanted something right then to replace it. The Glad one was on sale, plus I had a coupon, so it was a really good deal and I didn't have to pay as much for it out of pocket. I was a little torn between the two scents because I could not smell them, but I ended up smelling the candles of the same scent and went with the Currents and Acai because I thought it had more personality to it than the Clean Linen.
So far the diffuser has worked well. I have it in the far corner of my bedroom, tucked out of sight, but you can smell it the minute you walk in. I have a large thousand square foot room, and the entire room was scented within an hour of adding the reed diffusers to the bottle. Thankfully, the scent is not overwhelming. The scent pretty much stays constant throughout the day, I'm always worrying about these air fragrances releasing too much scent in a contained room-- and I have even done the plug in for one day, unplug for the next day deal.
But, I have had the reed diffuser open and out for over a week now and that problem has not arisen. Plus, after a week, the diffuser is still filled to the same point that it was when I bought it so I know it is going to last.
Now, for what I don't like. It's not at all attractive. That's not to say it is downright ugly, but if you read earlier, I have it tucked out of sight. There is nothing pretty or decorative about it. Plus it is so small that it looks like a baby diffuser. Both of these were kind of disappointing, but for the price you can't complain too much.
