I bought these over a year and a half ago, but they've stayed in my closet with the tag on until recently. This is because when I tried them on after I brought them home from the store, they just weren't comfy. I didn't return them right away and before I knew it, it was way too late to bring them back.
The other day I received a brown shirt, and I realized the only brown sandals I owned were these. They felt like I remembered. They aren't the softest, nor most flexible shoe. They hurt my arches. When I walk, the upper part feels tight and stiff on the top of my foot which is irritating. The bottom of the shoe flaps into my feet like a flip flop does and makes a loud slapping noise. Also, since the bottom of the shoe is hard, I can really feel it smacking my soles. There is a pad on the shoe, but it isn't very cushiony. It seems like it is just there for appearance rather than comfort.
I ran some errands yesterday while wearing them. I drove to stores and driving with them felt fine. I did some minimal walking, just in and out of where I had to go. My feet didn't have any blisters or cuts, but I took them off as soon as I got home. I do NOT recommend these for major walking, not even for a walk longer than 10 minutes. Of course, all feet are different, but in my experience, these are not a pleasure to wear.
The upper material resembles silk. The shoes have a cute kitten heel which measures 1 1/2 inches high. The price I paid was pretty phenomenal. Honestly, I wouldn't want to pay more for these since I won't get a lot of wear from them. Unless there is a couch nearby, so I can rest my aching feet!
