I enjoyed the first Night at the Museum movie very much. If possible, I think I enjoyed this one even more.
Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian continues where the first movie left off. Larry Daley has quit his job as night guard at the Museum of Natural History in New York. He is launching his business, Daley Devices, and is doing very well. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the Museum. The exhibits, which come to life at night due to the powers of a special tablet, are being packed up and shipped off to the federal archives in Washington, D.C. Everything is going high-tech, and these exhibits are no longer needed. Well, Larry finds out what is going on and is determined to help the exhibits get back to their home at the Museum, but first he must track them down in the archives.
This movie is fast-paced and full of some absolutely great special effects. I got such a kick out of watching this movie, I've even watched it a few times already, and my husband and I just purchased it the other day. It stars Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Amy Adams, and Robin Williams.
My copy actually has three discs, Blu-ray, DVD, and Bonus Digital Copy. Plus, there are special features, including deleted scenes, behind the scenes footage, audio commentaries and more.
This would be a great gift for anyone who is a fan of the first Night at the Museum movie.
