I normally do not read books that don't fall under my favorite authors or favorite genre, but my mom bought this one and then recommended it to me so I figured, "Why not?" I couldn't believe how quickly I became immersed in this book. I literally didn't want to put it down after just the first couple chapters. I was so involved and pulling for the main character's life to work out for the best.

It is the story of an overweight sad woman who is all of a sudden informed that she has very little time to live. Upset that she feels she's accomplished so little in her life, she makes some unwise (illegal) decisions. These decisions however lead to a lifetime of happiness for her (including losing weight as she swims at night). There's some real irony in this story that I won't reveal as you would then have no reason to read the book, but I can assure you that this is on to not be missed if you can get your hands on it.

This book really did get my full and complete attention and I've shared it with many friends, and they have all liked it too. Mine is actually so beat up that if I find another copy somewhere, I will be buying another copy.
