Nightmares and Dreamscapes is a short story collection by Stephen King. If you're looking to read something on a bus, in your spare time, or just for the hell of it, this book is definetly it.
The stories range from weird ("Dedication"), to the down-right scary ("Popsy", "The Night Flier", "The Moving Finger"), and even to the modern day with a twist ("Doland's Cadillac.") There are more stories included in this book that can be categorized differently, each one being worthy of a read. As every piece of King's writing, the stories are beautifully written and draw you in instantly.
The TV series adaptation of this book wasn't as bad, but the original piece of writing is definetly superior. If you want to be spooked, shocked, or just have a very good read, this is definetly worth the eight dollars.
