When my 21/2 year old daughter needed new sneakers I wanted to find her some that provided her feet with the support they need and some that would last since she'd be wearing a lot. I searched all over and finally found these, Nike's Little Pico III.

These shoes have been great for my daughter. They have two velcro straps so they are easy for her to put on and take off by herself. They have "padded footbed cushions" so they support her feet during all her running, jumping and climbing. The upper part is leather which will hold up well and the soles are made of flexible, non-marking rubber. To top it off they're cute! I love the simple design, just a pink Nike symbol on the side.

I got mine at Stride Rite but I have seen these same shoes at other stores such as Kohls and of course Nike. If you're looking for a good sneaker for your little one I suggest you give these a try!
