As I mentioned in a previous cosmetic review, I've never worn a lot of heavy makeup. I don't think I ever even tried eye liner until I was in my 30s. One thing I don't like is the liquid eye liner "Cleopatra" look. I like a very natural eye makeup.
So when I do wear eye makeup, I usually choose very soft eye liner pencils. This one by Almay is a black/brown pencil that is supposed to last up to 16 hours. It doesn't usually smudge, and it is water resistant. It contains Vitamin E to nourish and protect the sensitive eye area. It is also hypoallergenic, and good for those with sensitive eyes, or for contact lens wearers.
Another great thing about this pencil eye liner is that it has more of a crayon feel, unlike some of the harsher types. It even has its own sharpener built into the bottom of the eye liner. It comes in various shades, and sells for $7.49. I enjoy using Almay products for many of my cosmetics, as I have sensitive skin, and prefer the gentleness of their eye products.
