I bought this seat after my third child was born. I used a high chair with my other 2 children when they were babies and I found a high chair to be too bulky in the kitchen. Also with a high chair you have to clean the fabric seat or vinyl lined seat almost on a daily basis if you have a really messy eater. With this booster seat, you can feed an infant as soon as they are able to sit up by themselves. You simply strap the booster seat to a regular chair so that the baby can eat right at the table with the rest of the family. The chair has 3 height adjustment settings and the tray has 3 adjustment settings as well. I loved this seat because it was so easy to clean! The tray that the babies eats off comes right off and can go into the dishwasher. There is also a cover that goes over the tray that your baby eats off. The rest of the seat can be quickly wiped down and for an extensive cleaning, the whole seat can be set into your sink to soak the straps and seat. Another feature that I liked with this seat is that it is portable and can be taken to a restaurant or to someone else's house. The back of the seat folds down which makes it compact for moving around. When your baby gets older and doesn't need the tray, it can be taken off and the seat can be used soley as a booster seat. I would recommend this product over a high chair because you will get at least 2 years of use out of it. 5 Stars!
