I received a free sample of these biscuits about a week or so ago. I didn't think my dog would like them necessarily. These are green colored and have mint and parsley in them (See full list of ingredients below). I wasn't so sure how he'd feel about that. Surprisingly, he really likes them. The pieces are too big for him to eat all at once (He's a dachshund). They measure 1.25" across. I break them up into smaller pieces, so his little mouth can handle them better. These are made with real, cage-free chicken which is something I appreciate a lot.
There are many ingredients that have been left out of these treats. Here is the list, there are none of the following: soy, dairy, corn, flour, gluten, wheat, BHT/BHA, added salt, added sugar, by-products, added hormones, artificial colors, artificial flavors and artificial preservatives. All in all, these are very wholesome doggy cookies. Here are the ingredients included in them: oats, barley, brown rice, chicken, dried cane molasses, flaxseed, potato protein, sweet potatoes, rice bran, canola oil, brewers yeast, natural flavor, peppermint, cinnamon, rosemary, vitamin e supplement, parsley flakes and chlorophyll. All that almost sounds like something I would eat!
I like the shape these are in. They remind me of a dog's nose and a heart. Frankie's breath smells much better! I recommend these and also, their Happy Hips jerky, another product I've given my pup.
