For those Hardcore gamers who taught they were forgotten after buying a Wii, fear not, for their is a Mature rated game that would make any Xbox game weep. The game stars Travis Touchdown, a otaku ( a person who is obsessive with anime, manga and video games) who after winning a "beam Katana" (a sword that resembles a light saber from star wars) in a internet auction, accepts a job from the mysterious but beautiful Sylvia Christel to take down Helter Skelter. After defeating him, he learns that he is now ranked 11th in a organization called the United Assassins Association, a governing body of assassins. He then see's this as a challenge and begins his mission to rise up the ranks to number one. The game flow is fairly simple, get money by doing odd jobs, such as mowing grass, working at a gas station or doing assassination missions to apply for the next ranked assassin match, then go to the location, beat the warm up round and fight the assassin boss and repeat. The controls are simple. You use the Wii remote and Nunchuk. Most attacks are controlled with the A button. Blocking uses Z. The only motion sensitive parts are the death blows, sword lock struggles and recharging your sword. There is a good in game tutorial to help you out in the beginning of the game. The overworld if the game, which is the city Santa Destroy is fairly boring. You drive around the town with your motorcycle. The graphics are creative and the sound is good as well. The music is excellent. One of the most entertaining parts of the game is the amount of violence. After each death blow, large amounts of blood spray from the enemies as you cut them in half, along with screaming. There is also a good amount of sexual references and swearing. This game defiantly deserves to be rated M. The game is fairly long, so it will keep you busy for a while. The game is also from 2007, so you can pick it up used for a bargain price so i recommended buying. So unless you don't enjoy having fun, this a is adventure that you won't want to miss.
