Noah's Naturals Pore Refining Masque contains clays and herbal extracts to cleanse and purify the skin. A 2.5 ounce tube costs $8.99 at Wal-Mart. Used once or twice weekly, it helps maintain a healthy glow and detoxifies the pores. I would recommend this mask to anyone who is interested in maintaining healthy skin, but for those concerned with skin issues such as fine lines, wrinkles, or age spots, a more potent product is necessary.
When used weekly, Noah's Naturals Pore Refining Masque helps keep my pores from getting clogged, and it makes my skin feel soft and smooth. The product suits my needs and, not only is it a quality product at a reasonable price, it can be conveniently purchased at the local Wal-Mart.
A bonus to purchasing Noah's Naturals products is that they are environmentally friendly, not tested on animals, and they contain no chemicals or parabens. (The key ingredients in Noah's Naturals Pore Refining Mask are glycerin, aloe, vitamin E, and kaolin). Through 1% for the Planet, 1% of Noah's Naturals product sales are contributed to environmental organizations. Their products are also NPA (Natural Products Association) certified.
Noah's Naturals Pore Refining Masque works like most other facial masks. Simply wash your face with a gentle cleanser, apply the mask (being careful to avoid the eyes and mouth), and leave on for up to twenty minutes. The mask sinks right into pores, and it doesn't dry before you are able to apply it to your entire face. I find that fifteen to twenty minutes is ideal. Any longer than that, and it starts to tighten and crack. (I recommend relaxing in the tub while the mask dries. It's easier for your facial muscles to stay relaxed, and the steam from the water will keep the mask from drying completely). When the mask has dried to your satisfaction, rinse it off with a wash cloth, or splash warm water onto your face with your hands until the product has been removed. Apply your favorite moisturizer and eye cream to keep skin moist and supple.
A little of this mask goes a long way - a thin layer is all you need. I've been using the same tube for about five months now, and it's just about empty.
This pore refining mask is a facial mask, not a miracle - the effects are temporary. However, when I use it once or twice a week (some weeks my skin seems to need a little more TLC than others), it really does seem to keep my pores from getting clogged with gunk. My facial skin also seems tighter and firmer just after using it, which makes it ideal to use the night before an important date or event.
