Nokia 3110 is truly a classic phone complete with phone features like camera, music player, Bluetooth, games, name it, this phone has the basics. I like the compact, slim, lightweight design of this phone. I can recommend this phone for people wanting a simple, robust and easy to use, straightforward, affordable phone without those nonsense extra features. This phone is good enough for personal or business use.
The Nokia 3110 Classic is a simple, easy to use phone with durable casing and measures only 87g with dimension of 108.5 x 45.7 x 15.6 mm. It's easy to hold, easy to control and very user friendly. Display type is 256K colors TFT with screen size of 128x16 pixels, 1.8 inches. It has the classis 5-way navigation key that's basically present in most Nokia models.
Basic Phone Features:
Nokia 3110 Classic features a 1.3 mega-pixel camera (, 1280 x 1024) with 8x digital zoom. The camera is ideal only for sending quick photos on MMS or as email attachment however may not be the best picture quality if you intent to print pictures. I seldom use the camera because the resolution is poor. I still prefer to use my digital camera instead. I can also record a video clip using this phone. I can also adapt the camera to the light condition into Auto, Daylight, Tungsten, or Flourescent. I can always select Options, Settings menu to adjust camera/video setting or select my storage media. This Phone has a default 9MB internal storage capacity however, a card slot for microSD card is available as optional storage up to 2GB.
I like the built-in portable media player of this phone that can play videos (MP4/3GP) images and of course, music files. It can play mp3 and AAC or WMA player sound files. When tired of playing music files, I can always switch on to it's built-in stereo FM radio. Another good feature is the equalizer and stereo widening capability for a better sound quality. This phone has a wide range of options to stay connected with other devices such as wireless Bluetooth connectivity, Infrared capability or Packet Data. I can also transfer/synchronize data to my laptop like my calendar, contact lists, notes, etc. using USB data cable using Nokia PC suite software (can be downloaded free at nokia.com.
It supports GSM, GPRS, EDGE network connections, however it does not support 3G or WLAN connectivity. It also supports J2ME Java application for games and other applications. It has Organizer feature such as alarm clock, calendar, to-do list, notes, calculator, timers and stop watch. Web browsing capability, voice command or voice memo is also present. Most importantly, a fully charge Li-Ion 1020 mAh can last up to 3.5 hours of talk time and up to 370 hours standby time.
This phone is full-packed with basic features at reasonable price.Recommended for those who want a budget phone but never missed out important multimedia function.
