I upgraded my cell phone approximately 6 months ago to the Nokia 6085 at a cost of $18. The phone itself was free but the upgrade charge was $18, I kept my current cell phone plan. The phone is nicely shaped and fits in your hand very well. The speaker on the Nokia 6085 is excellent enabling me to adjust the volume from 1-10. The screen on the front of the phone is large enough to be able to read easily with my aging eyes. You can also adjust the size of the display font for easier reading.
The keyboard is lighted, the characters on the keyboard are white and illuminated nicely by the backlight. I have found that texting on this keyboard is very easy although I don't use this feature too often. There are many ring tones and themes present so that you can choose one that suits you. I have mine currently set to ring like an old fashioned telephone so I realize sooner it is my phone ringing rather than just the music on the radio.
This phone also has a camera and video feature. The Nokia 6085 takes short video clips and photos as well. There are also features such as instant messaging with AOL, MSN or Yahoo, as well as email and internet. You can take pictures or videos and then send them to friends. I tend not to use the email and internet features as there is an extra cost associated with these features.
The Nokia 6085 is sturdy compared to others I have owned. It has been accidentally dropped several times and other than a scratch here and there it is still in great shape. It has no exterior antenna which helps to ensure nothing breaks off. This is a flip phone and can be set to answer when you flip it open and hang up when you flip it closed. I would recommend this phone to anyone who wants a nice looking phone which fits in their pocket but is advanced enough to do most anything you want it to.
